All gave some, some gave all. We are thankful for all who served and who are serving. But Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave all. Those who died in obscure places on a map where no one today will ever go. They were surrounded by war, they died next to their brothers in arms. They heeded the call of their country, to defend freedom for you and me. They never returned home to enjoy that freedom. So, as you enjoy being with friends and family this weekend, remember that a lot of families will have an empty place at the table for the cookout, a lot of pictures will be missing a friend, a father, a mother, a son, a daughter, a brother or a sister. Please don’t let their sacrifice be for nothing.
Annapolis Caramel Company would like to thank all those families whose loved ones gave their all on the fields of battle so that we could enjoy the freedoms we have! May God bless all of you!
